Conditions of Competition

The Rules of Golf as issued by the USGA govern play, along with Local Rules as applicable in the Club’s “Hard Card”. See below for additional Conditions of Competition. Violations are addressed by the Tournament Committee in cooperation with the Rules Committee.
Format:
This is a two-day, 36-hole Flighted Individual Net tournament using 100% of Course Handicap. The Tournament Committee uses the Tournament Pairings Program (TPP) of the GHIN software to determine Flights and daily pairings. Home Course Handicap is as of the date of tournament set up. The Tournament Committee makes every effort to create Flights with the least amount of Handicap differential possible.
The 1st Flight plays from the Blue Tees. All other flights play from the White Tees.
Scoring:
Saturday format – “Odds or Evens”: Each participant shall use either the net 9-hole total from the odd numbered holes or the net 9-hole total from the even numbered holes, whichever is most advantageous.
Sunday format – “Mine for Nine”: Each player selects his two (2) lowest net par-3 holes, two (2) lowest net par-5 holes and his five (5) lowest net par-4 holes to determine a nine-hole total.
Saturday’s nine-hole total plus Sunday’s nine-hole total determines your 18-hole tournament score.
A Sudden Death playoff will decide all ties for first place. Playoff holes are determined by the Tournament Committee based on course availability. Players are responsible for knowing the likelihood of a playoff possibility. Failure to be present for the playoff will result in relinquishing first place for second place. If a playoff is required, 100% Home Course Handicaps apply and all holes count. All other ties are co-winners and the place money is evenly split.
All scores are posted by the Committee for USGA Handicap purposes, with applicable Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) applied.
Other Information:
Prior to the first tee, at the Registration Table, a voluntary $10.00 will be collected from each individual wishing to enter a Flighted Net Skins Game. In addition, a voluntary $10.00 will be collected from each individual wishing to enter a Gross Over the Entire Field Skins game. If there is “No Skins Out” on Saturday, the skins money will carry over to Sunday. In the event of “No Skins Out” on Sunday, the competition will revert to a Best Skins format on Sunday’s results only. Regardless of daily format, all eighteen holes will be used for skins and voluntary pot games.

Tournament Payouts:
Closest to the Flagstick: Holes #4, #8, #13 and #17 (Gift Cards will be awarded.)
Individual Payout: “Money on the Books”, using Club Payouts Schedule A. The number of participants in each flight determines places paid.
